Message from MultiNet
Providing all the service to a customer from our data center was one of the dreams that MultiNet had since the establishment of our company back in 1994.The development in Cloud Technology made us realized that dream.
Back then, the internet itself was not popular for commercial use. However, we have believed that internet would be everywhere sooner or later, and the all data storage and server function would be gathered in datacenters. Therefore, we have started as an internet service provider first. At that time, Dial-up internet access was commonly used. When we first introduced the Private line (T1) to a major Japanese trading company, it was just like a revolution to change their work flow
We are not just using a buzzword
MultiNet has started server hosting and managed network services since 1997. We have developed the shared Firewall (Multi-Tenant system), and that could be recognized as the frame bone for the cloud service.
In 1999, we quickly adopted virtualization system which was the base of the cloud service. In 2002, introduced as our service, and in 2003, we have started support service for deploying virtualization technology to customers’ servers.
Since 2004,（IaaS）via Network circuit remote data storage service “Net Backup” has been started.
